You must Let Go of All Your Baggage

Do you want to reach your full potential? Then you must drop all the baggage you are carrying! How do you expect to win when you are overloaded with much baggage?

While you may pretend all is well, you know the internal battles and frustrations that confront you daily. You have successfully masked what is going and project to the world that all is well. But in your heart, you know that all is not well.

There are different baggages that we collect as we go through life, and at times, we find solace in these baggages. The solace comes from the ability to use some of these baggages as scapegoats for justifying why were are where we are.

It becomes easier and comforting to complaining and giving excuses for why we are only punching below our weight. There is too much blame that can be passed around, from racism, to where you were born, who gave birth to you, and what others have and have not done to and for you.

While there is no justification for abuse, neglect, and injustices of any kind, it does not mean that you should let these things stop you. What you must accept is that you have the final say and determine how you respond to whatever happens to you. In other words, you can use all the negative things that happen in your life as fertilizer to bring out the great potential that is already in you.

But for this to happen, you must believe that you are wonderfully made in God’s image; that you have a purpose and your life has meaning.

Unfortunately, if you don’t let go of the baggages in your life, they will stifle the great potential that is already in you, and you will never be all you were create to be.

Stop looking for validation from others. Stop waiting for others to approve you. Stop trying to please everybody. Stop waiting to be perfect to act. Stop copying other people. Stop waiting to be perfect because none is.

Accept who you are because if you don’t, others will not.

No matter what weight you are carrying and how dire your situation is, I have good news for you. Here is a promise from Jesus Christ that will set you free. He Said:

“ Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28–30 New King James Version (NKJV)

Today is the day to let go of your baggages and take on a lighter yoke. When you do this, you will feel light and will be able to reach your full potential.

I am a holistic kind of guy; the physical and spiritual must be in synergy for real, lasting, and sustainable success.
