Why you need to be confident

Do you want to reach your full potential and become all you were created to be? Then you have to become confident. Nothing will take you to the top faster than confidence. It is imperative that you have confidence in your good given potential that is already in you.

Please listen to this carefully. You are having dreams, desires, and aspirations because you already have all that is necessary for you to achieve every one of them. These dreams have been given to you because you are the right person to pursue them.

Stop looking at what others are doing and focus on what you have been called to do. Your assignment is tied to God’s great potential in you, and you don’t need to be approved or validated by other people, even your family members.

Don’t let those who claim to know you better than yourself talk you out of what you have been called to do.

You know your calling because it is something that you find extremely difficult to push out of your heart, no matter how hard you try. This may be the issue of poverty in your city, homelessness, or a technological need, transportation, safety, housing you name it.

What is that problem that can’t seem to go away no matter how hard you try to dismiss it? You have had the prompting because there is great potential in you, but you need to be confident that you are the right person for the job for it to happen.

I am not saying you should fake it because there is nothing to fake. You are having sleepless nights and toiling these particular issues in your heart because you are the one to resolve them.

Your age does not matter, even your social-economic background. Do you want some role models, ask Mose a slave who was called to free other slaves without an army? The other person is Joseph, who was called to lead but was sold into slavery by his brothers and thrown in jail and left to rot. Do you want to know what propelled him to become the prime minister of Egypt? Confidence in his God-given potential and the dream to be a leader. This confidence dictated his conduct, and he did not allow his circumstances to dictated the actions he took. Joseph rose up to the occasion because he was confident in who he was.

Do you know your assignment? How confident are you?
