Why You MUST begin small

Do you want to reach your full potential? Then you must begin small!

Learn from the seeds around you that grow into giant trees. I hear the mustard seed is one of the smallest, yet it grows into a giant tree.

There is tremendous and infinite potential in you, but it will only be maximized if you begin small. Nobody ever takes more than one step at a time. You have to take that first step; then, you can accelerate your speed. Before the acceleration, you must take the first small step.

All of us started small and grow to the size we are today through a process of cell division. The miracle is in the consistency and persistence of the process. The two cells started it all and ended with 2 trillion cells in a human baby. To get to 2 trillion cells, you have to start with two tiny cells that are not visible to the naked eye. Just because the cells are invisible does not rule out the great potential that is in them.

The idea that you are having right now has great potential as well, but you MUST start small for it to grow. There are many reasons why starting little makes much sense. You need to grow and learn how to handle the growth and increase that accompanies it. If you grow too fast, it will become destructive, ask a company that develops too fast, and is unable to hand the demand; they end up with unsatisfied customers who eventually move to other businesses that promise and deliver.

It is tempting to want to start big, but this is fatal thinking. Many dreams have died and are buried in the cemetery because those carrying these dreams refused to gibing small. They allowed the shame of starting little to rob them of their dreams and never reached their full potential.

The greatest novels and all the New York bestseller books all started with one letter. Do you want to write a best seller? Then begin with the first letter. You don’t need a full word, just type that one letter, string it to form a word, then a sentence, then a paragraph and a chapter and eventually a book. There is no shame in striating small. It only becomes a problem when you begin and become stunted.

What are you waiting for? Today is the day to begin!
