Are you guilty of misquoting the following scripture when it comes to exercising?

The wicked flee when no one pursues,

but the righteous are bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1

I heard somebody use this scripture to justify why they don’t exercise. This person said, “How can I just get up and start running when nobody is chasing me?”

To which I responded, “You must run not because you are wicked, there are more sinister conditions that are chasing you.”

Here are some of them:
